How To Install The Pump Head And Tubing Of A Laboratory Peristaltic Pump?

Peristaltic transfer pump is a new type of industrial pump, widely used in pharmaceutical, food, chemical and other industries, for conveying media with sensitivity, viscosity, strong corrosiveness, abrasive, high purity requirements and certain particle materials.

What are the factors that affect the operation of peristaltic transfer pump?

• Liquid properties: it should not react with the peristaltic pump tube;

• Temperature: it will affect the motor, and the motor will generally produce a certain impact with the increase of temperature;

• Pressure: excessive pressure may cause the liquid to fail to be transmitted;

• Viscosity of the liquid: excessive viscosity will cause the roller to idle;

• The peristaltic pump tubing: it will wear out after long-term use.

How to install the pump head and tubing of laboratory peristaltic pump?

Preparatory work before using laboratory peristaltic pumps

• Open the outer packaging of laboratory peristaltic pumps, check whether all accessories are incorrect or damaged according to the packing list, and contact the manufacturer or agent in time if any problems are found.

• Carefully read the instruction manual and keep it at hand or fixed location for easy reference at any time.

• Place the laboratory peristaltic pumps on a level table and keep the rear side at least 200 mm away from obstacles.

Installation of pump head and peristaltic pump tubing of laboratory peristaltic pump

• Align the flat shaft of the laboratory peristaltic pump pump head with the groove of the driving coupling, and rotate the pump head to make the positioning hole at the rear of the pump head and the positioning pin of the driving pump head support align and push in, so that the pump head and the pump head support are close together. Thread two fixing screws through the fixing holes of the pump head and tighten them.

• Pull the pump head lever of the laboratory peristaltic pump to open the pump head, and smoothly place the peristaltic pump tubing of the laboratory peristaltic pump into the pump head while keeping it straight. Pull the lever in the opposite direction to the horizontal position, and the tubing is installed.
  

• Align the flat shaft of the laboratory peristaltic pump pump head with the groove of the driving coupling, and rotate the pump head to make the positioning hole at the rear of the pump head and the positioning pin of the driving pump head support align and push in, so that the pump head and the pump head support are close together. Thread two hexagonal fixing screws into the fixing holes on the inner side of the pump head and tighten them.
  

• Smoothly place the peristaltic pump tubing of the laboratory peristaltic pump into the card and keep it straight. Push the two ends of the tubing clamp into the fixing groove. First, fix the round arc groove at the left end of the card in the cylindrical guide rail of the pump head, and then insert the other end of the card into the square guide rail.
